One of our main goals from the very beginning of BluMaan was to be able to deliver amazing hair products to everyone around the world. For a while, all of you were able to buy from our website and receive a good quality product.
Unfortunately we were faced with countries that made it difficult for us to ship to. Once we caught wind of this, it was constant monitoring and feedback that led us to ultimately halting the shipment of our product to certain countries. We took serious concerns to the events that were happening – Packages being lost, stolen and taking too long in transit.
It was unfair to those of you who were waiting patiently for a package and being told it’s lost. We really felt your pain and anger.
So what we did was take a step back and figure out the problem. When we realized changes needed to be made we quickly put all efforts into making it happen.
Today is a big step towards an even bigger goal. We are opening shipping back to India as of 06.27.18
- We are proud to say we now have full visible tracking on all orders. Whether you pick standard or expedited you will be welcomed to a detailed tracking page highlighting checkpoints and clearance of your package. (This is not exclusive to India – It is happening for all packages!)
- Instead of our old 3-4+ week shipping time we’ve cut it down to a maximum of 2 – 3 weeks. We’ve cut down our shipping time by a whole 1 week.
- We’ve maintained our $8.95 USD flat shipping rate for standard orders.
- We are now introducing a faster and insured expedited shipping with a flat rate of $12.95 USD.
- Unfortunately since we exporting goods from the US to your country, there will most likely be a duties/customs charge.
- Specifically for India, the Goods and Services Tax Identification Number (GSTIN) was implemented recently. What this means is the Integrated Goods and Services Tax (IGST) will be applied during customs clearance by your country’s government policy.
We’ve got some exciting news regarding international shipping. We know from your feedback that our tracking for international orders has been troublesome but we’re making a change. Starting today we will be introducing a new order tracking page.
What does this mean for you? It means you will get more detailed tracking and updates on your delivery. In the past, we have received numerous emails with packages being lost. Hopefully this new change will not only give you more detailed tracking, but also give you more confidence knowing that your packing is on its way safely.
These changes will start for international orders today! You will start to see the improvements such as the new tracking page after you’ve placed an order and received a shipping confirmation email.
However, in order for us to implement all these changes, we will have to increase the price of international orders to $12.95. Please bear with us as we are implementing these incremental changes. There is more to come, but we thought we would take this time to address a serious concern and give you guys an update to what we’re doing to serve you better.

Since our founding we have tried our best to provide the best delivery we could. We wanted everyone to have the chance to purchase BluMaan products no matter where they lived. However, it has come to our attention that shipping to certain locations are not up to our standards.
After much thought we have decided to temporarily stop shipments to specific countries (see below) that we believe to be the most affected.
This change will take place on Thursday, September 24th, 2017 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Standard Time). If you have ordered before with no issues please take this opportunity to place another order before the cuts come into effect.
For those of you who have already ordered please do not worry, we will still honor all orders that have been placed before Thursday, September 24th, 2017 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Standard Time).
Although we can’t make any guarantees yet, we’re working our hardest to make BluMaan products accessible to everyone.
We want to thank you for your support and your passion. We in turn try to reciprocate that support through our service and the creation of great products.
