I’ll let you in on a little secret, styling second day hair will save you lots of time.

Less is more with second day hair.
We always get questions like, “Is it fine to sleep with product in my hair” “Should I shampoo everyday?” And these questions can all apply to second day hair.
It’s fine to have residue of product in your hair when you go to sleep. Generally it may not be comfortable, but it’s not going to ruin your hair/scalp. It also makes it easier to style second day hair with product already in your hair. Which means all you have to do is touch it up with a scoop of your product and you’re good to go.
I’m not saying you should always do this because it’s just as important to wash out product from your hair. I won’t advise leaving product in your hair for too long however because you can imagine with more dirty hair and product, you will easily clog your scalp making it hard for your hair to breathe.
All in Moderation.
It comes down to your lifestyle. You shouldn’t always leave product in your hair overnight and you don’t need to wash your hair every single day. What’s important is to be conscious of your daily activities. We’re here to help guide you and give you advice, but at the end of the day sometimes the things we say may not apply to you. Take it with a grain of salt and remember to always stay true to what makes you different.
